Grinsell & Johns are Strata Certifiers and Subdivision Certifiers.

Grinsell and Johns offer a service as Strata and Subdivision Certifiers, where we can issue many certificates in place of the Council. This includes Strata Certification or Subdivision Plans.

Strata Plan Certification

To March 2020 there have been over 3,700 Strata Plans certified producing over 75,000 strata lots. Some of our continuing applicants are Australand, Crown International, Dyldam, Holdmark, Payce Properties, Sekesui House, to name a few.

Subdivision Certification

Only subdivisions that have been determined by the NSW Government as Major Projects can be certified by an accredited certifier. Up to March 2020 there have been over fifty (50) Subdivision Plans certified. This includes Stratum Subdivision Plans, plus Subdivision Plans for Kooragang Island Coal Terminal and Wind Farm projects in Inverell and Mudgee.

Torrens title subdivision is available under new legislation that commenced 6 July 2018.

Complying Development

Up to March 2020 there have been over 1,500 Complying Development Certificates for Strata Subdivision issued. These projects range from three (3) lots up to two hundred and six (206) lots.
